School food at I Dream

I Dream PCS participates in the National School Lunch program to deliver delicious healthy meals to our learners that is FREE to all of our learners
What: Healthy meals that include vegan and non dairy options for all learners.

When: Breakfast Lunch and Snack Distribution Times
  • 8:15 am - 8:30 am Breakfast, K-4th
    Breakfast is served in classrooms

  • 8:15 am - 8:30 am Breakfast PreK
    Breakfast is served in classrooms

  • 10:15am Snack PreK-3rd Grade
    ​
  • Lunch times vary per Learner group, but in general align to:  
    • 11:30 am - 12:00 pm- PK4 / K
    • 12:00 - 12:30 pm- PK 3/4
    • 12:15 - 12:45 pm- 3rd/4th
    • 12:45 - 1:15 pm- K/1st
    • 1:15 - 1:45 pm- 1st/2nd

What do I need to do?:
Nothing! I Dream PCS participates in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). This means that all meals are free to your learner(s). We do NOT need you to submit a Free and Reduced Priced Meals (FARM) form!

Why?: 
  1. Tastes good!
  2. Right food size and portions for our learners
  3. Easy to distribute

How We Distribute
  1. All learners will eat breakfast, lunch, and snack in their classrooms and distributed by our coaches
  2. Meals will be delivered (either hot or cold) in temperature-controlled bags.
  3. All meals will be portioned to be age-appropriate and individually packaged.
